Leonardo da Vinci & Justin Timberlake

Leonardo He was a highly skilled painter, sculptor, illustrator, engineer and inventor. For all of his many talents he is considered the quintessential Renaissance Man. He left Florence for Milan, and in 1482 he painted the Last Supper on the wall of cafeteria in a monastery. He loved to study nature. He spent countless hours observing birds in flight and his observations led to his designs in a Flying Machine. Justin As a child, he performed on Star Search and then the Mickey Mouse Club. Shortly after leaving the show he joined the band NSYNC. In 2002, he released his first solo album, Justified. Throughout his career he collaborated with many other artists, including Jay Z, Timberland, Lil Wayne and Nelly Furtado. He is known for his charitable work. He runs the “Justin Timberlake Foundation” which funds music programs in public school.

Similarities Both Leonardo and Justin are known for being highly skilled in multiple ways. Leonardo created some of the most famous works of art, but he also was an engineer and inventor. Justin began his career in music, but he is an acclaimed actor and dancer too. Both men began their careers at a young age. At 14, Leonardo moved out of his father’s home to study art in Florence. Shortly after his arrival he began to work on paintings and received training in other areas. Justin began his career at 13. He moved from Memphis to Florida to star on the Mickey Mouse Club. In their time, both Leonardo and Justin were admired for their good looks. Leonardo model for a statue of David when he was a teenager living in Florence, and Justin was named Teen People and Cosmopolitan Magazines Sexiest Man Alive in 2009.
