What is a Revolution?

A Revolution is… A drastic (major) change that usually occurs relatively quickly. This may be a social, political, or economic change.

The search for democracy took place over several centuries. Citizens wanted to take control away from the kings and queens who ruled over them without worrying about the needs of their people.

Some revolutions will we be studying: –Glorious Revolution in England (17th Century) –American Revolution (18th Century) –French Revolution (18th Century) –Latin American Revolutions (19th Century)
