Classroom Expectations Homework must be turned in on time No late homework – Must be passed in when asked for- If absent must turn in homework at the beginning of class the day you return (5-10 points) Major assignments – Five points deducted for each day late

Class Expectations Please check the online grading system frequently. Missing assignments will be visible as well as progress. One tardy per marking period Class grade of 50 points for each marking period – Loss of points for missing supplies, off task etc.

Course Expectations Must use agenda to go anywhere – Name label must be included on agenda Be on task No make-up No notes No talking

New school expectations Take care of the classroom Respect my desk and property No gum No food or drink No drawing or marking of desks Ask to get out of your seat unless an emergency

Classroom Procedures I will give you a notebook and folder. We will pass these out each day. You may take things home to study but you must have materials back in class the next day. Books are available to be signed out if you need one You must bring a writing utensil each day. Blue or black pens are necessary on final copy days. There are pencils, pens, and erasers available to borrow. If everyone returns what they use they will be available all year. If not you are on your own.

Semester midterms and finals As ninth graders there will be a midterm and final. Dates for those tests will be established well in advance. Students must study and be prepared.
