The profile of company

Name: Exxon Mobile Corporation (Exxon Mobile F&L) Industry: oil and gas Headquarters: Irving, Texas, United States Area served: worldwide Products: fuel, lubricant, petrochemicals

Example of the products Exxon Mobil white oil and wax Exxon Mobil aviation lubricant Mobil industrial lubricant Exxon Mobil Marine lubricants Exxon Mobil asphalt (bitumen) Passenger Vehicle lubricant

Exxon Mobile Flare System

What is Flare System? Gas flare or flare stack is a gas combustion device used in industrial plant. It consist of a flare stack and pipes that feed gas to the stack.

Function Flare is a system that is important safety device Flare system are used to manage small volume of waste gas that cannot be efficiently captured and returned to the system for processing. Flare stack is commonly used for burning of flammable gas released by pressure relief valve during unplanned over-pressuring of plant equipment.

Flare are also used as an outlet for gas during maintenance and equipment repairs.

How It Works

Electrical Supply and Distribution System

Functions Provide power to all support equipment Distribute amount of electricity to all equipment in plant Provide back up power in case of shortage

Types Generation generate power station from natural Transmission Bulk transfer electrical energy from generating power plant to electrical substation Distribution Deliver electricity to consumer

Importance of System Electrical transferred economically and reliable Power loss can be minimized by placing transformers Operating efficiency can be maintained at high level
