Introduction

As we know the front wheel change its direction during movement so the front wheel drive was impossible to connect movement from the gear box to the front wheel until CETROEN company has developed the front wheel drive system in 1950 and it was a great invention to transmit power from a rotating axel to another one in a mobile place other companies find that this system saves a lot of materials and money and so a lot of companies applied this system in production until it became the existing drive system in most of cars nowadys

How the cycle work The motor transmit the movement to the gear box where the coupling is attached. The coupling ties between the gear box and the front wheel, because the front wheel change its direction when turning right and left and also up and down so the coupling shaft should have some elastic movement when it is attached to the housing

Advantages Cheaper in production and processing Needs less parts than BWD Give more free area under the car body and this help to attach the break and exhaust pipes Lighter and this help in acceleration, breaking and petrol consumption.

Improve car drive as engine gear box and tranaxles all are found above the leading wheels and this prevent car sliding ( load distribution : 60 % on the front axel and 40 % on the back axel )

الجر الخلفي ( الدفع الخلفي ) Rear Wheel Drive (RWD) الجر الأمامي ( الدفع الأمامي ) Front Wheel Drive (FWD) عن طريق العجل الخلفي عن طريق العجل الأماميالدفع ( الجر ) أمامي طوليأمامي عرضي وضع المحرك السيارات, سيارات السباق والسيارات عالية الأداء, الشاحنات سيارات الركوب الحديثة الاستخدام - يوجد عمود إدارة ( عمود كردان ) propeller shaft لوصل ناقل الحركة إلى محور العجل الخلفي - يوجد ارتفاع في منتصف السيارة من الداخل لمرور عمود الكردان أسفل السيارة - ناقل الحركة والتروس الفرقية والمحاور في وحدة واحدة transaxle اختلاف الأجزاء

Coupling Failure ظهور تجويف بالمجرى التى يتحرك فيها البلى بأحد جزئى الكوبلن الذى يتحرك بينهم البلى و الموضح فى الصورة باللون الاحمر ظهور تجويف بالمجرى التى يتحرك فيها البلى بأحد جزئى الكوبلن الذى يتحرك بينهم البلى و الموضح فى الصورة باللون الاحمر صوت الطقطقة knocking noise

فعندما تتحرك البلية فى المجرى الخاصة بها تقابل فى طريقها هذا التجويف البسيط الذى هو عبارة عن مطب صغير بالمجرى التى تمر بها البلية لتنزل به ثم تصعد مرة اخرى لتكمل مشوارها داخل الكوبلن حسب مدى التفاف عجل السيارة و نتيجة هذه الحركة الغير سليمة للبلي داخل الكوبلن نسمع صوت الطقطقة المعروفة و عادتا يحدث الصوت عند التفاف عجل السيارة فقط و هذا لان البلى لا يتحرك كثيرا فى السير الى الامام بالسيارة فلا يتاثر بالتجويف الذى حدث. اما فى حالة تحريك عجل السيارة لليمين او لليسار يمر البلى على التجويف الصغير بالمجرى التى تحكم حركته. و ينزل بالتجويف ثم يصعد مرة اخرى مصدرا صوت الطقطقة التى نسمعها فى حالة تلف الكوبلن كما وضحت سابقا و لهذا نعتبر ان الكوبلن لم ينكسر بعد و لكن حدث خلل فى الحركة الميكانيكية بداخله ادت الى ظهور هذا الصوت اولا و اذا تم اهماله كثيرا سيصل الامر الى تفتيت البلى نفسه او الحلقة التى تحكمه بسبب ازدياد عمق التجويف الذى يمر به البلى اثناء الحركة و هذه تعتبر مرحلة خطيرة و تحدث نتيجة الاهمال الشديد فى الاصلاح

Failure causes : -Bad driving style at a lot of people which cause erosion in the groove where the balls move along it. And this cause knocking sound (noise) specially during turning right and left -Boot damage are one of the most important causes of coupling failure as when the boot is damaged the lubricant is dropped out of it and this increase friction between parts and make failure -Bad material of coupling

How to protect 1- donot try to fix the coupling but try to replace it 2- keep away from the bad drive style 3- examine the boot from time to another and replace it if it is damaged كاوتشة مقطوعة كاوتشة سليمة
