CITY POWER PLANT IN TŘEBÍČ
The first power plant was built on the municipal meadow on Polanka the area of which was 3200 m 2, from by organization Ganz and Inc & Co. Electrical lamps were first switched on in Earlier lighting was very bad. Power from the factory‘s dynamo was regular with voltage 120V. This condition lasted until 1931,when Baťa bought „borovinské závody“.He had to install new power plant because all of his machines were for voltage 220V. Třebíč was one of the first towns where a power station was built. Its power of 350kW looked superfluous because the number of houses was too small.
