Solution for Department of Medicine Utilize Appointment Budget Number field in HEPPS –Allows the budget number to be associated with the full (10-digit) org code Establish departmental budget numbers, one for each division –Dept of Medicine will set up new budget numbers in July, in tandem with new appointment set up –No charges are posted to these accounts Automates current, manual practice

Division Process Opt-In Division handling is available on an opt-in basis A list of departments that wish to manage FECs at the division level will be maintained by eFECS –eFECS system will list the division level for these departments only –Astra span of control will link administrators to their division list
