HSAP HSAP: High School Apprenticeship Program Combination of regular academic work with paid, part-time, on- the-job, practical training Available in over 40 trades For high students age 16 in grades 10, 11, or 12 High School Apprenticeship Training Coordinators: 2 urban, four rural and Northern, including one Aboriginal training coordinator.

Financial Incentives Trade of Automotive Service Technician Minimum No. Of HSAP Practical training Hours Equivalent Academic Credit Free Tuition Level(s) 220 hrs hrs hrs hrs84 *110 hours = 1 academic credit In addition to the financial incentives that HSAP apprentices are eligible for, they are also eligible for the same incentives all other apprentices, Red Seal or otherwise, can obtain. Employers of apprentice and journeypersons can also receive incentives for hiring HSAP apprentices, Red Seal apprentices and all other apprentices too.
