Presentation transcript:

Greg is 21 years old and just got his first job working as a cashier at the corner ABC store. He has great responsibility and needs your help with making the right choices. Let’s not let him down. Be sure to click on the decisions that Greg should be making as a responsible employee.

Just getting back from his break, Greg sees a few of his underage friends come into the store. Because Greg’s friends think he will sell them alcohol without checking I.D., they enter his line. What should Greg do? Should Greg – Pretend to check his friends’ I.D. cards and sell alcohol to minors? Pretend to check his friends’ I.D. cards and sell alcohol to minors? – Or – Not allow them to buy the alcohol and ask them to leave the store before they get into trouble? Not allow them to buy the alcohol and ask them to leave the store before they get into trouble? Click on the correct choice to continue helping Greg.

Yes! You made the right decision. Greg is now ringing up an order after checking the age on the I.D. He notices that the woman gives him $20 more than needed for her purchase. Should Greg – Return the $20 to the customer, telling her that she paid too much? Return the $20 to the customer, telling her that she paid too much? – Or – Pocket the $20 and use it to pay his water bill; not telling the woman about her mistake? Pocket the $20 and use it to pay his water bill; not telling the woman about her mistake?

You’re making Greg look like a model employee! Greg checks the time and sees that it is nearing his lunch break. He also notices that he left his lunch money at home and is very hungry. Should he – Borrow $10 from his register to eat at Sonic, and secretly return the money during his next shift? Borrow $10 from his register to eat at Sonic, and secretly return the money during his next shift? – Or – Ask a manager or coworker to loan him a few dollars for lunch until tomorrow? Ask a manager or coworker to loan him a few dollars for lunch until tomorrow?

You should be proud! Stealing is never the answer. Greg is now cleaning around his work area and notices that his coworker, Margie has been getting drunk by drinking the mini- bottles on her counter. Greg should – Try to get Margie help by informing a manager of her intoxication? Try to get Margie help by informing a manager of her intoxication? – Or – Join Margie by drinking the mini-bottles at his own counter and get chocolate wasted? Join Margie by drinking the mini-bottles at his own counter and get chocolate wasted?

You have made some really responsible choices! Greg will prove to be a model employee with the decisions that he has made. Hopefully, he will continue making the right choices on his new job.

Nope. Try again. Selling alcohol to a minor is illegal and Greg could possibly lose his job and face jail time. This is not a good decision at all. Click here to help Greg make the right decision.Click here to help Greg make the right decision.

This is not a smart move. Although Greg may need the money to pay his water bill, taking the woman’s money could be considered stealing. It is better to be an honest worker and respect others’ property. Click here to help Greg make the right decision. Click here to help Greg make the right decision.

Danger Zone! This type of behavior could get Greg fired immediately! Taking money from the register for any reason is considered stealing and will not be tolerated by any company for which he works. Click here to help Greg make the right decision. Click here to help Greg make the right decision.

This is very irresponsible! Being chocolate wasted or drunk on your job is never a good idea. You should always want to be on your best behavior and never under the influence of any drug. Click here to help Greg make the right decision. Click here to help Greg make the right decision.
