Folks in the Kitchen Getting a taste of Europe‘s cultural wealth

Events A one week summer school in Nancy, FR which includes: - five days of culinary workshops focusing on recipes from the participating countries - a cultural day-trip, and - a closing gala dinner for participants. A day-long festival in each participating country (city), to be held one month after the summer school, featuring recipes taught during the summer school and folklore from all participating countries.

Target group Second-year students currently following a full-time course at a culinary school in one of the participating countries The general public in the participating cities interested in gastronomy and folklore

Aims intercultural exchange between people from different parts of Europe the establishment of a network of culinary schools in the participating countries exchange initiatives for students not enrolled in University courses promotion of cities and regions outside their borders
