Classroom Site Fund (CSF) Established by voters in November 2000 to increase teacher salaries and contained a performance based component. Funded by two sources;.6 cent sales tax and State Land Trust Revenue.
CSF Funding Sales tax amount varies each year State Trust Land: More complicated – All monies above $72.3 million go to CSF. – Permanent Fund earnings (sale of asset) – State Land Department expendable revenue (leases, permits, non-permanent disposition of asset)
CSF State Treasurer’s Distribution Formula 5 Year average of Permanent fund multiplied by 2.5% Permanent Fund has almost $5 billion
CSF There are three funds: – Fund 011 – Base Pay (20%) – Fund 012 – Performance Pay (40%) – Fund 013 – Menu Items (40%)
