General Course Approach Audience participation will be key to this course’s success You must spend time reading the book I don’t read you the book I summarize parts that I think are important, but you are responsible for reading the chapters Final Exam Prep Follow along in class Participate in the class discussion Read the book Ask questions
General Course Approach Managing your expectations: The course may deviate from the course outline. I try to stick to it, but you should consider it more of a guide than the exact approach we’ll follow We may cover chapters faster than planned, we may go slower. Group Presentations Time for project presentations may be more or less than what is in the outline. Depends on class size, number of groups Students’ participation in the group project is mandatory (no free loaders) A couple of nights to be aware of I may be late (but trying not to be late) for class on Jan 13. I will be late on Jan 20, so we will have a revised start time for this one night only of 7:15pm, but the course will end at the regular time
