Gold : Gold is used for food with the E number 175, Its used in electronics, Jewelry, and back in the day it was used for medicine!

Mining: Mining is how you get gold. Mining is dangerous Mining is destructive to the natural environment around mines, creates waste rock disposal problems and uses harsh chemicals which can be sources of waste and harm to workers and the environment! Read more: Effects of Gold Mining on the Environment | eHow.com environment.html#ixzz1M9ajAtI6Effects of Gold Mining on the Environment | eHow.com environment.html#ixzz1M9ajAtI6

Gold : The only really dangerous thing of gold, is mining. Because mines have been known to collapse and kill most of the people. On average mining kills around 50 or 60 people a year.

Mining accident : Posted on August “Thursday” two missing miners were feared dead. The gold mine which took place had about 3 deaths over 11 years. (The mine is not told) The accident happened at approx. 1:15 am the families were notified and they shut down the whole underground mine! In April 1999, a miner was cleaning debris from a rock blasting area, lost his footing and fell into an opening about 150 feet to his death. 

Coal: Coal is used for many things the biggest uses are electricity generation, steal production, cement manufacturing and as a liquid fuel. Coal is a chemically complex fuel. Whenever it is burned, gases are given off and particles of ash, called "fly ash," are released. The sulfur in coal combines with oxygen to form sulfur dioxide, which can be a major source of air pollution if let out in large enough areas. If it pollutes the environment then it harm wildlife that live in the area that is being polluted. Coal is turned into energy by a machine that turns the coal into a powder, The coal powder gets mixed with hot air allowing it to burn better, A turbine spins, and turns it into heat energy. A condenser then cools the steam, and it turns back into water. The cycle begins again, and continues to repeat this to make energy.

Dangers of Coal: Coal Mining is pretty much the only danger to people and the environment, However coal lets off smoke which is harmful when breathed in and it also harms wildlife as pollution would. In Mexico a coal mine accident had trapped 14 miners in, there bodies were never found  The person to report them missing, the actual mine, and the company that owns the mine asked not to be mentioned so it wasn’t even mentioned on the web page.

Mining is indeed DANGEROUS!
