 Who is eligible to attend  Cadets currently in the 9 th, 10 th and 11 th grade  Must be returning to AZ-862 for

 Who is ineligible to attend  Graduating Seniors  Non returning cadets (if you are not sure you’re returning that includes you)  Incoming Freshmen  School transfers

 Where is LLAC  Fort Huachuca AZ  An army post approximately 200 miles south of Chandler  Transportation will be provided by JROTC

 What will be worn  Cadets will wear ABU’s the entire time LLAC is in session. This includes travel to and from LLAC  Each cadet needs 3 sets of ABU’s  AZ-862 DOES NOT MAINTAIN OR ISSUE ABUs  The ABU’s must have all appropriate patches sewn on them prior to leaving  BDU’s, ACU’s, DCU’s and MCUU’s in whole or part are not authorized for AZ-862

 What are the living accommodations  Housing will consist of multiple 6 person tents  Same gender tents  In some cases smaller tents will be used  Small number of same gender population from same school  The tents will be placed at a equine arena away from the base populace Photo is merely for aesthetic purposes not actual campsite or tents

 Will there be food provided?  Three meals a day will be provided + + = Full Tummy

 What do you do at LLAC  Field Day competitions  First Aid and Buddy Care  Knot Tying  Leadership Reaction Course  Obstacle Course  Orienteering  Rappelling  Self Defense  Water Survival Training

 The cost to attend LLAC (not the cost for acquiring the equipment for LLAC)  $25 for the first ten cadets with correctly completed packets  $50 for the cadets #11 and on

 How does the selection process work  Cadets who have never attended LLAC are given first priority  The cut off date for first timers is 1530, 10 FEB 2015  ALL PAPERWORK MUST BE COMPLETED AND TURNED IN BY THE CUT OFF  To include completed (not scheduled) sports physicals  Paperwork that is incomplete will not be accepted

 How does the selection process work (con’t)  Cadets who have already been to LLAC once have second priority  At 1531hrs, 10 FEB 2015, the number of open slots will be announced  Second priority cadets will have until 1530hrs 17 FEB 2015 to return the completed paperwork  Paperwork that is incomplete will not be accepted

 How does the selection process work (con’t)  After 1531hrs 17 FEB 2015all other eligible cadets may submit paperwork for any available slots  Cadets who missed their assigned cut off date are not eligible to submit
