Loop Current: Ground Resistance. Tone: ID Tone (200 Hz to 1kHz, Precision (200 Hz to 19,999 Hz) and Wideband (20 kHz to 2.2 MHz). Autotest: Active Pots, Vacant Pots, Vacant Wideband. DSL Menu: DSL Loss, DSL Noise, DSL Spectrum Analyzer, Resistance Balance and Impulse Noise. POTS Menu: Loss, Noise, Longitudinal Balance, Load Coils, Caller ID, Ringers, Level Trace, Kick Test and Voiceband SA. Module: Accesses the attached module. Dial Key: Allows 965AMS to be used as a Buttset or send DTMF commands to a FED. Resistive Fault Locator: Measure shorts, grounds and crosses with single pair or separate pair connections. Turning the unit On/Off Press the red key to power up the unit or power down the unit There are two ways to power down the unit. 1.Sleep mode – Quickly press and release the red key. This is normal daily use. 2.Cold Boot – Hold the red key down for ten seconds and then release. Use this mode when the unit will not be used for an extended amount of time.
