The CHS College Search Process & Junior/Senior Year Timeline Where should you be now? You will need to check the requirements for each school. To register for the SAT II’s go to: Continue to dedicate yourself to your studies- Junior year performance is extremely important as it is the last full year that colleges will see on your high school transcript Get/Stay Involved in school/community activities

Where should you be now? Register with the NCAA Clearinghouse at if you are planning on playing Division I or Division II sports in college Continue to visit colleges Remember: Some colleges will track the interest of students and use this info in their admissions decision. Request an interview if offered/required. Attend Area College Fairs (April CT Convention Center- Hartford, CT) Stay involved- Colleges are interested in the well rounded student- resume building activities Keep all login info in a safe place (see login sheet) Meet with your School Counselor to review your plan and ask questions Develop a timeline/action plan based on the application deadlines of the schools you are considering
