Dear SERT Team - Thank YOU!!! The students and staff at Richard Montgomery High School would like to thank you for your continued support as we strive to be an environmentally friendly “green” school. Here’s a snapshot of what we’ve been doing with our funds this year!

RMHS Reusable Bags 200 bags were given out during the monthly staff meeting in November During this staff meeting the students from the Environmental Club made a presentation about the importance of using reusable bags. 300 bags were given out to students as they left the building after an announcement was made to the entire school about the importance of using reusable bags.

RMHS Environmental Awareness T-Shirts Over 50 student entries were submitted as part of the t-shirt design contest. The students from the Environmental Club, Recycling Club, Administrative Team, and School Leadership Team, and entire school staff voted to select the winners. T-shirts were distributed to the students in the Environmental and Recycling Clubs. Additional t-shirts will be given out to students randomly as part of first period presentations by the Environmental Club.

Water Bottle Pen Pens were given out to students and staff who participated in a first period week- long jeopardy contest. Students in the top three first periods with the most correct answers for the week each received a pen. Pens were also distributed to the students in the Environmental Club.
