Galileo Galiel By Jacob Kawecki and Jayson Endozo Astronomer, mathematician, and physicist.

He lived in Pisa, Italy

Galileo is famous because……  Helped in proving many of the Ptolemaic- Aristotelian theories wrong.  Cosimo II `de Medici’s (Grand Duke of Tuscany at the time) chief mathematician and philosopher.

Five Facts o Discovered the Law of Falling Bodies and the Law of Pendulum. o Designed a variety of scientific instruments. o Developed and improved the refracting telescope (he did not invent it). o Discovered 4 Moons orbiting Jupiter. o Chief Mathematician and Philosopher of Cosimo II `de Medici.
