 The digital divide is most commonly defined as the gap between those individuals and communities that have, and do not have, access to the information technologies that are transforming our lives.

 Student Math Scores Jump 20 Percent with HMH Algebra Curriculum for Apple® iPad®; App Transforms Classroom Education

 Pilot study finds students in Riverside Unified School District who used Houghton Mifflin Harcourt's HMH Fuse™: Algebra 1 app were also more motivated, attentive, and engaged than traditionally educated peers

 4 teachers at Bassett High School  English, Math, Science, Social Science  8 th grade teachers at Torch and Edgewood

 We will use e-rate reimbursement funds for this pilot. As we expand the use of tablets in our schools, we will need to find alternative sources of funding.

 We will be using Apple’s Extreme routers, until E-Rate funding is available to have wireless throughout our schools.
