History of abortion  Unsure as to when it actually started.  The ancient Egyptians, Greeks, and Romans preformed abortions.  England and the Roman Catholic Church were some of the first to make abortion illegal.  The United States followed shortly after England and the Roman Catholics in abortion laws.  In most states in the U.S. it has mean made legal to receive an abortion.
