+ Social networking do’s Use a strong password. Letters and numbers help. Change your password every few months. Be picky on who you are friends with. Know your friends and contacts. Read up on the latest security tips.

+ Social networking don’t’s Upload anything you wouldn't want everyone to see Give away your password. Be careful on how much you tell. Never post when you're going on vacation, when your stuff might be left or not watched Recent purchases that are expensive.

+ Computer safety both on and offline Magnets are dangerous for a computer. They can wipe information and ruin the devices. Don’t have to many programs working at the same time. Clear your cookies regularly Scan computer for any viruses Be careful what programs you download.

+ Ethical use of Internet material including videos, music, and printed material If you use anything make sure it is not copyrighted. Check before use. Cite the references. Use sites like to site any works.

+ Copyright guidelines “Writing from a book, magazine, etc. Up to 1000 words, but not more than 10% of the book or article “ (Citation. (2013) “Poems Up to 250 words (or the entire poem if it is less than 250 words) No more than 3 poems by the same poet.
