Upcoming Challenges: In May the DOT physical will be more difficult to pass – employees can no longer go to personal physician. There will be a list of registered DOT doctors who will have to be trained and will be responsible when they certify someone as being able to pass physical. Also, this is not a Dearborn problem, getting certified bus drivers is a state-wide problem. In Addition we have held our job fairs in the District Suggestion: Hold a Dearborn Schools is Hiring – Employees Wanted session at any of the schools. This would be to recruit and assist persons in filling out an online application. We could set up a computer bank and meet and assist anyone who stops in.
