Formative Assessments ●Homework and Classwork = 10% Summative Assessments (labs, tests, quizzes, projects) = 90% All grades should be verified in Genesis on a regular basis to ensure accuracy.

Grades change throughout the marking period. ●An A+ or an F during the first 2 weeks of the marking period may not be an accurate indicator of your child’s achievement. ●If there is no grade on Genesis = it hasn’t been graded yet. ●If there is a Zero in Genesis = assignment hasn’t been handed in.. ●Please contact me if you believe a grade is incorrect in Genesis! Each assignment will be given a due date. In most cases, it will be due the following day. Late work will be accepted one day late until December 1 st and will receive 50% credit. After December 1 st, late work will not be accepted and will result in a 0. Homework will be posted on the homework board & on the class website:

Extra help is available after school most Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays after school in room 126. Please check for availability in case of bus duty or faculty meetings

Students are responsible for missed work, whether from illness, school function, or vacation. Student can find missed work by: Looking on the homework website ing or calling a friend. Checking the "hand in ” basket. 1 free day late for every day absent.
