Instructions This self-paced module is designed for teachers and will explain the concept of using Google Sites to create a classroom-based website. What is Google Sites? Google Sites is an easy-to- use application for building websites. Google Sites is part of a suite of free applications called “Google Apps.” Google Apps for Educators is an ideal version for educational settings.

Overview of Google Sites Google Sites is a great tool for teachers with little experience in designing web pages. No knowledge of HTML is required. Many templates are offered that allow you to create rich web pages, add classroom files to your pages, and control who can view and edit web pages.
