Lesson 2: Creating and Editing Business Letters

2 Learning Objectives After studying this lesson, you will be able to:  Select and edit text, and use AutoCorrect  Set AutoFormat As You Type options  Copy and move text  Set page layout options  Preview and print a document

Typical Business Letter Styles Block Style  Most common business-letter style  All elements single-spaced and left-aligned (except double-spacing between paragraphs) Modified Block Style 3

Inserting Text Using AutoComplete  Recognizes names, dates Using the [Enter] Key  New paragraph or blank line Word Wrap  Makes formatting consistent when text is added or removed 6
