Health Literacy Panel Tufts/Emerson Health Communication Program 20 th Anniversary Celebration September 20, 2014 Sabrina Kurtz-Rossi, M.Ed. Assistant Professor Department of Public Health and Community Tufts University School of Medicine

Health Literacy Panel Kurtz-Rossi uses an online teaching tool to get real-time feedback from health communication professionals on the kinds of health literacy tools and techniques they use in their work. Participants log onto the poll using their smart phones. As they respond to each question, Kurtz-Rossi describes the health literacy intervention under consideration. Results are displayed in real time for all to see.
