Welcome To Senior College Night September 29, 2011

The Senior Plan Make College application Choices Senior Credit Check Fill out Applications, including, essays, personal statements Send transcripts, letters of recommendation Financial Aid and Scholarship Searches Make College Decisions

College Application Process No Trick or Treating until your applications are in! Please allow 10 days for recommendations from teachers and counselors Apply online if possible If an essay is required, be sure that it answers the question asked and is important to you personally. Content, style, and originality are what matter.

Transcript Request Forms When the application is completed bring it into Student Services and fill out a transcript request form. Attach the form to your application along with the application fee. The form must be signed by the student! Put the entire packet in the “Transcript Request” tray in the career Center. Please allow at least one week processing time.

ACT and PSAE LAW effective August 2004!! The student must complete the PSAE before graduation. How do I get my ACT score sent to the college of my choice? ACT.org – $10.00 each school Official Score – up to 4 schools can be selected as part of the ACT registration packet

Financial AID and Scholarships FAFSA – Free Application for Federal Student Aid Your financial aid award will be renewed from year to year according to your taxes Scholarships can be researched early and often Visit our Career Center or Student Services website for applications and information Please allow plenty of time for teacher and counselor recommendations Adhere to deadlines
