Learn To Sail Seminar Moraine Sailing Club welcomes you
Moraine Sailing Club welcomes you Moraine Sailing Club promotes sailing at Lake Arthur. We have several elements to our program, all of which are described in more detail on our website 12 Learn to Sail sessions at the lake Community Sailing Program (CSP) Racing program Kids Sailing Camp each year in July Picnics in the summer as well as other annual socials
Moraine Sailing Club Learn To Sail sessions We have 12 Learn to Sail sessions for folks just getting started, like yourselves. It costs $25 per student for the whole summer. We give both on-the- water instruction and chalk-talks on land. After you get reasonably proficient in sailing and knowledge, you can (if you wish) take the US Sailing certification test on a voluntary basis. If you pass the tests (written and on-the-water performance), you would become qualified to take out a boat on your own if you join our Community Sailing Program.
Moraine Sailing Club Community Sailing Program (CSP) / Racing That is our second program - CSP. It costs $225 per year, and you can take out any of our Flying Scots or Sunfish at any time. We have an on-line reservation system for these boats. Finally, we have a strong racing program with about races per year on Saturdays. Many of our racers got their initial training in the LTS program. CSP members are eligible (and encouraged) to race club boat in our races. Also LTS students (when they are ready) are encouraged to practice their new skills on Sunfish on race days.
