One: the rise and development of eco- socialism Eco-socialism appeared in the 20th century following the green movement in West in 1970s, becoming a remarkable left-wing ethos 1990s. Eco-socialism,as a thought of combination between the new social movements and socialism in contemporary Western, is the future social theory trying to maintain ecological balance to meet new needs as the goal of harmonious development to find a road leading to the reality of eco-socialism.

Contradictions of contemporary capitalism led to the development of the global economic crisis. On the one hand, global capitalism predatory exploitation of natural resources created shortage of renewable resources and depletion. On the other hand, the capitalist production mode, global expansion, resulted in global ecological imbalance and environmental pollution.

First, the Soviet socialist model didn’t not solve the relationship between man and nature. Second, the Soviet socialist model neglected ecological problems, prompting these countries to launch an attack to the government. Third, the Soviet and Eastern europe closed socialist model can not go beyond contemporary capitalist system to solve the ecological crisis.
