About PDSA PDSA was founded in 1917 by Maria Dickin CBE. The first PDSA vets was in London. Today PDSA has 48 PetAid hospitals across the country. PDSA treats over 8,800 pets every working day.

To be protected from pain, suffering, injury and disease. The five things all animals need are: The right environment to live in. A suitable diet. To show normal behaviour. The right companionship.
