Presentation transcript:

The emergency transmitter is my first choice, because it can help you be rescued in a forest. It helped Brian by being rescued in the forest, too. An emergency transmitter is more important then a cell phone, because an emergency transmitter has a G.P.S. A cell phone needs a battery and signal for people to rescue you. The emergency transmitter can rescue me because of the G.P.S in it. The emergency transmitter can make me live longer by helping people to find me. I defend the emergency transmitter, because if you turn it on, the G.P.S will help some people find me.

The hatchet is my second choice, because without the hatchet, Brian would hadn’t been able to make fire, keeping animals away from him, building a raft, and going into the plane. The reason I chose this is it is good for killing animals for food, chopping wood, and making weapons. I chose this item for surviving, because it helped Brian with lots of things and it could help me by defending against animals and protecting myself. I defend it, because it would help me live by not being afraid. The hatchet is more important then the knife, because a knife is smaller and weaker, but the hatchet is bigger and stronger. You can use the hatchet for chopping wood, killing animals, and protection.

The matches are my third choice, because it can help me in many ways like building a fire to keep me warm, to cook my food, and to use as a signal fire. The fire can keep animals away from me. The reason I chose this is it could help Brian make a fire faster. It could scare animals away and let me see in the dark. The fire that Brian made helped him by scaring away bugs and animals from him. I defend the matches, because it would help me to survive by helping me make a fire without having to light a fire using the hatchet.

The bow and arrow is my fourth choice, because it helped Brian to kill the fool bird, the fish, and the rabbit for food. The reason I chose this is it can protect me from larger animals, and I can use it to hunt for food. I defend the bow and arrow, because I can shoot from far away from a larger animal or small animal, and I don’t need to get closer to the animal to kill it. It is important, because I wouldn’t get hurt with the arrow while hunting. However, if you try to kill an animal with a hatchet, the animals can hurt you, because you need to be closer to them, closer than with a bow and arrow.

The cookware is my fifth choice, because it helped Brian transport water to cook his food. The reason I chose this is it’s good for transporting water and food. Once Brian had the cookware from the survival kit, his life became much easier. He could drink from the pot, or he could eat from it. He no longer needed to go down to the lake for water to drink. The cookware gave him something to use to store things, as well.

The first aid kit is my sixth choice, because Brian could use the first aid kit to heal himself with his minor injuries of the plane crash and the moose attack. The reason I chose this is, if I were hurt, I could use the first aid kit to heal my wounds. Brian used the scissors from the first aid kit to cut his hair. I defend the first aid kit, because it has medicine that can heal me. The first aid kit would help me survive longer. I can use the first aid kit for healing any wounds that I might have.

The rope is my seventh choice, because it could have helped Brian improve his arrows, raft, fishing rod, and his house. The reason I chose this is it can help me by making a rod to get fish easier. I defend the rope, because it can help me improve my items and fix other items to work better. The rope will help me survive by making traps to trap small animals for food. I can use the rope for improving my items, fixing my items, climbing or escaping from larger animals, and to catch animals for food.
