CSeries – Major investment in Belfast Bombardier is investing more than £500 million in Northern Ireland in new facilities, plant and machinery, and in engineering research and development of the CSeries wings which will be made from advanced composites Wing span – 115 feet The investment will develop Belfast’s capabilities to a completely new level, enabling it to move up the value chain, and provide a springboard for the future. 2

CSeries – Major investment in Belfast Wing development programme well under way. Pre-production wing demonstrator successfully assembled and undergoing testing. Around 400 engineering and support staff are currently involved in the development of the CSeries wings. Over 800 jobs will be sustained at full production, and over 2,000 in the wider supply chain. 3
