Why do athletes from so many countries want to take part in the Olympic games? The athletes think it is an honour to take part in the Olympic Games, because it is a meeting of the best sportsmen and sportswomen in the world. They have a chance to win if they take part in the Olympic Games, and if they do win, they will become rich and famous. They come to make friends and learn from each other.
