Is My Face A Private Body Part?
Our Faces Is a face a private part of our body? People can see your face, but you still may not like them to touch it. Other people might not like you to touch their face either. In this way, then, a face is private. Mayer Johnson PCS Symbols © Mayer Johnston LLC (contact Widgit Software www.widgit.com)
My face in public places Usually, it is important to keep my fingers away from my nose or mouth when I am in a public place. This helps to keep everyone around me comfortable. Mayer Johnson PCS Symbols © Mayer Johnston LLC (contact Widgit Software www.widgit.com)
My face in public places If I need to touch my nose, it’s okay to touch it quickly, then put my hand down. If I have a drippy nose, it’s okay to blow it quickly and quietly with a tissue. Mayer Johnson PCS Symbols © Mayer Johnston LLC (contact Widgit Software www.widgit.com)
Touching my mouth If I have something stuck in my teeth, I can quickly and quietly try to get it out. If I need to touch my face, or remove something on my face, I will try to go to a private place first. Once I am in a private place, it is okay to touch my nose and mouth, but I must wash my hands afterwards. Mayer Johnson PCS Symbols © Mayer Johnston LLC (contact Widgit Software www.widgit.com)
