Can’t get enough of the blinkies? Decided to take a kit home, but don’t have a soldering iron? New solder station …………..…………………$25 Soldering Tools New Soldering Iron ………………………………$5 Entry level iron, we used them at Duckon 15. Used Soldering “Yellow” Station ……………… $10 We are no longer able to buy replacements or parts for our “Yellow” irons. We are selling off the ones we have left. Your choice of iron for a low cheap price. We started using this solder station at Duckon 17. Had a number of people ask if we sell them so we picked up a few extra on our last order.

Batteries 4 Batteries (1 Set)……………………………….$1 24 Batteries (6 Sets)………………………….....$5 Although each Blinkie kit comes with a set, don’t forget an extra package of four LR44 batteries for your Blinkie. Power unit We added support for a AC power supply for the 8x16 matrix. Power Kit ……………………………………$5

How Easy Are They To Build? Beginners Advanced For the 6 LED Circle, Simple 4, and 4 RGB, if you've never, ever soldered before, 45 minutes. Experienced folks, 15 minutes. For the 5x7 Matrix, double the time. Don't worry about taking extra time - the goal here is to *enjoy* building the blinkie. Intermediate 19 LED Stick Kit-08 5x7 Matrix Kit-03 4 RGB Kit-04 6 LED Circle Kit-01 Simple 4 Kit RGB Stick Kit-05 3x3 Matrix Kit LED Circle Kit LED Sphere Kit-09 & Kit-09b 12 LED Circle Kit-09 8x18 Matrix Kit-10

Standard LEDs These are our basic LEDs. So what is a “standard” LED? It’s about the brightness of most LEDs you see – visible in the dark and under indoor lighting. Our experienced eyeballs puts these around 50 mcd. We have red, yellow, and green. In bi-color, we have red/green and yellow/green.

Bright LEDs So what is a “bright” LED? At least 20 times brighter than the standard - dazzling in the dark, annoyingly bright under indoor lighting, and visible under sunlight. We have red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet, and white. In bi-color, we have red/green, red/blue, and green/blue. In RGB, we have them in, uh, red/green/blue :-) Dale and Dwayne search the world looking for the best LEDs. Seriously. To borrow a metaphor, LEDs are like a box of chocolates. We never know (for sure) what we are going to get. What you see here is what meets our standards.
