24 Goals for end 2002 u URD’s u A 1 st version from all remaining detectors u Existing URD’s updated to cover u All sub-systems u Operational requirements: state/transition diagrams u for sub-systems u For ECS: exp. Modes and actions for DCS, DAQ, TRG u Interlocks u Planning: milestones table u Budget: Central DCS and Detector DCS estimate

25 Goals for end 2002 u Prototyping u Common solutions (ACC team) u CAEN 1527 available in PVSS FW + lab setup u ISEG HV available in PVSS FW + lab setup u Wiener PL500 available in PVSS FW + lab setup u 1 st proto Temp monitoring system + lab setup u Detectors u Start using PVSS FW and one common solution u Make a Lab Setup

26 Conclusion u URD’s are advancing well – 2 nd version now needed u Prototyping is just starting u DCS to be ready for each detector in less than 3 years (mid 05) u A realistic planning of these 3 years is essential u Detector tests to be used as milestones for the DCS planning u Intermediate steps to be detailed for each sub-system
