How Do They Celebrate Christmas?  Christmas is a very special time in Jamaica. They celebrate by playing Christmas carols, painting their houses and hanging new curtains. They prepare their meals on Christmas Eve. The traditional Jamaican Christmas meal include fresh fruits, sorrel and rum punch. Jamaica’s red wine and rum fruitcake is also a tradition and eaten in most homes.
