 Class work  Usually 12 to 15 credit hours per semester  2 to 3 hours out of class for every hour in class  Work  Usually 10 to 20 hours a week  Activities and Organizations  CKI is only one of hundreds of organizations on college campuses.

 Our Motto: “Live to Serve, Love to Serve”  More Service than any other collegiate organization in the world  300,000+ total recorded hours for CKI last year  Highest per member service hour rate of any branch in the Kiwanis Family  On Average 25 service hours per member per year

 Like Kiwanis we have leadership at all levels of the organization  Leadership scales from club officers all the way up to our international officers  Anyone in CKI can fill any leadership position, regardless of their experience or time in the organization

 We focus on working as a group  We don’t just serve together, we get out and have fun together  College life is stressful and CKI is there to help students pull together and not only serve, but also enjoy what they are doing and who they are with

 Every CKI club MUST have a sponsoring Kiwanis club  You are our mentors  Our organization cycles through members every 4 to 5 years, Kiwanis is fairly consistent

 International Dues  $450 or $600 depending on school type and size  District Dues  $9 per member  Other Expenses  Gavel, Gong and Banner - $150  Club T-Shirts $10 to $15 each  Costs involved with clubs projects

 Fall Membership Retreat  $85 per attendee  Y’all Conference  $200 per attendee  DCON  $165 per attendee

 Kiwanis Advisor  Attend their meetings and have them attend your meetings  Make sure the club officers have been trained  Maintain active membership in the club  Recognize that sponsorship is a continuous endeavor  It goes way beyond paying their chartering fees  It means always being actively involved

 Help us collaborate with other branch's of the Kiwanis family  Help us increase our service potential  Provide us with opportunities for fellowship, personal growth, and professional development

 $1,000 to $1,500 minimum per year  Does not need to be a lump sum  Make them work for it  Set stipulations on the money  Teach them to be responsible

 Now that I have told you a little bit about CKI, do you have any questions for me?
