Background and Problem Statement PackageIdentity does not have an ID Some packages have detailed classifications: For example, a package might be a Driver package. A driver package might be video, audio, network, storage etc. These cannot be mapped easily in SDD. Some installartifact might need some instructions. Change in Version 0.2 Modified based on TC feedback.

Suggested change 1: Add a label attribute in the packageIdentity element to provide an “identifier” for the PackageIdentify. This field could be vendor-specific and might be both human and parser readable:
