THE BEST PROOF WHEN GOD’S KINGDOM HAS COME Text: Luke 11:2So He said to them, "When you pray, say: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as [it is] in heaven.

INTRO: In the Phils. when vehicles stopped esp. in front of the school, you know something is going on. Aside from having remembrance, we’re taking pictures as a proof that we’ve been in a particular place. 1Ti 5:24 Some men's sins are clearly evident, preceding [them] to judgment, but those of some [men] follow later. 1Ti 5:25 Likewise, the good works [of some] are clearly evident, and those that are otherwise cannot be hidden.

AIM: FOR US TO BE OBEDIENT TO THE WILL OF GOD. I. GOD’S KINGDOM AND HIS WILL ARE INSEPARABLE You cannot live in the kingdom of God and outside His will. GOD’s authority/government within you. In the Kingdom of God, His will is being done. In heaven where He is reigning completely, everything is in order, no chaos, no trouble, no sin, all His creations worship Him.

In the Kingdom, the king rules. If He is not reigning in your life, you are outside in His Kingdom. You cannot say, God is reigning in your life but you are doing your will. There is no substitute for His will being done as main proof that His kingdom has come. II. THE NECESSITY OF REPENTANCE Mat 4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."

Sinning before God is just like the prodigal son who left his Father’s presence. Isa 59:1 Behold, the LORD's hand is not shortened, That it cannot save; Nor His ear heavy, That it cannot hear. Isa 59:2 But your iniquities have separated you from your God; And your sins have hidden [His] face from you, So that He will not hear. RECALL, REPENT, RETURN, RECONCILE, REJOICE, RESURRECT

Repentance is 180 degrees turn. You cannot keep going on the wrong way. Repentance filled the gap between you and our King. Can a person living in the Kingdom still sin? Pro 24:16 For a righteous [man] may fall seven times and rise again, But the wicked shall fall by calamity. III. THE FACT THAT HIS WILL IS NOT DONE MEANS HIS KINGDOM HAS NOT COME.

Rom 14:17for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Once righteousness is gone, your off from the kingdom. Kingdom=righteousness= God’s will Psalm 40:8 I delight to do Your will, O my God, And Your law [is] within my heart.“ For His will to be done, His kingdom must come first. Unless you’re in His territory, you are not obliged to obey.

IV. THE KING’S PRESENCE IN US THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT We lost Him, when Adam and Eve fell. We are no longer capable of having Him Luke 24:49"Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high. John 16:7 "Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the

Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. V. IT IS FOR THIS REASON THAT WE WOULD NOT ENTER THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IF WE DO NOT OBEY THE WILL OF THE FATHER. Mat 7:21 "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. John 3:16"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Mat 10:7 "And as you go, preach, saying, 'The kingdom of heaven is at hand.‘ Luke 10:9 "And heal the sick there, and say to them, 'The kingdom of God has come near to you.' Mat 4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

CHALLENGE: In your life, whose will are being done- God’s or yours? Are you not quenching the Holy Spirit? CONCLUSION: Luke 11:2So He said to them, "When you pray, say: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as [it is] in heaven.
