Short Term

Short Term - Recruitment  Target Members: 30 Members (End of 2014)  Summer 1 and 2: at least 6 new members  Formal Letter of Invitation  States the purpose, reason, short introduction, what can be expected  Orientation  Resident members first before presentation to the alumni

Short Term – Scholarship  Process  Recommendation letter from the resident brods, which will include the reasons.  Interview (Alumni)  Assessment of the Alumni Board

Short Term – Awards and Incentives(Resident)  GWA Award (Promotion of Academic Excellence within the fraternity)  CS (5,000) and US (8,000)  Most Improved GWA (To be decided the specification)  Extra Curricular Award (Formal Recognition - Certificate)  Sports  Leadership  Other Awards

Short Term – Internal Activities  Physical Activities  Frisbee Session  Team Building  Frat Jog (Tuesday, Thursday, Sundays)  Knowledge Sharing Session  Lecture Series (Hacking, Logic, Business Writing etc.)  Card sessions and other recreational activities

Long Term

Long Term – Recognition  Fraternity Recognition (Start of Second Sem A.Y )  Consistent number of resident members (around 30-40)  Fraternity Adviser (As much as possible an alumnus)  Pros: formally do activities such as distribute pub mats, letters, and hold events

Long Term – Tambayan  Fraternity Tambayan  Factors:  Electricity  Security  Accessibility *Suggested: 5 th Floor in front of P&G room Old tambayan Others: Engineering Complex

Long Term – Identity  Events – To be done every semester  1 st Sem: purely academic (physics review series, rgep tutorials)  2 nd Sem: fun and physical activities (frisbee, paint ball, golf, etc)

Long Term – Funding  Budget Proposal  Initial Funding + events  Financial Statement of the resident fraternity  To be presented before the beginning of every semester  Reimbursement Scheme  liquidation  Cash on hand (revolving fund)  Maintaining balance would stagnant or emergency defined in the budget proposal  Bank Account  Organization or Individual Account of the LG or Gold

Long Term – Organization Structure  Elder Guardian Council  Members composed of representative from the alumni and ex-officio  Act as an advisory board

Immediate Events  Events  A tie up or help the U.P. Linux Users Group – date to be announced and topics will be decided  Team Building Activity –  Confirmation of new brods (tentative May 23, 2014)  Location: Antipolo  Details are found in budget proposal  Recruitment and Orientation events  Orientation: May 12-16, 2014

Notes  If team building is approved, the alumni is encourage to join for the confirmation of the new brods.  We are planning to create an alumni directory to keep in touch with the alumni association – for the planned internship program (still in the pipes – for discussions)  Resident fraternity is need of financial assistance for events(meetings)  We will provide documentation as requested.
