Inequalities Collaborative Ealing and Hounslow 4 Description What is the London Inequalities Collaborative? The London Inequalities Collaborative is a time limited exercise to test the effectiveness of applying the collaborative methodology developed by the Modernisation Agency, to reducing health inequalities. The first topic is Stop Smoking Services.

Community Health Development Project Manager (Inequalities Collaborative for Smoking) The project manager will have the responsibility for addressing the health Inequalities agenda. The main focus of the post will be to increase the number of people who stop smoking by working in partnerships with a wide range of local organizations, community groups and the Stop Smoking Service.

The Somali community are hard to reach; the Somali men mainly use the Somali cafés, by addressing them directly, with a focus on smoking cessation and raising their awareness of the accessibility of the service will increase.

It will reduce the health inequalities, allow groups of the community (Somali men) to access the service, increase the level of involvement of the general community with information and awareness of the health implication associated with smoking

We had manage to raise awareness and let them ask us questions about the service,We where in the spot for a few hours on Saturday,
