10 III. World Interactions Students will map a trip across the U.S.A including 5 different places to visit. Students will identify the Continent, Country, State and City they live in. Students will write to pen pals in other countries. Students will participate in a game to test their knowledge about the world. Students will work in pairs with the Odyssey Globe.

Conduct a mock trial Students will organize a school wide community bulletin board and gather information to place on it. Students will take a field trip to the local park and clean up litter.

Decision Making & Resources Students will learn about the Natural Resources of different regions of the U.S. Students will itemize the cost of food across the U.S. Students will learn the importance of voting. Learn the importance of different currency for different countries. Students will decide on a way to earn money for a new class pet.
