be / get used to sth./doing sth. 对某事物 / 做某事已适应 / 习惯 他习惯于艰苦的工作。 He is used to hard work. 我不习惯喝茶。 I am not used to drinking tea.

2.so…that 作 “ 如此 … 以致 ”, 连接一个表示 结果的状语从句 so + adj. / adv. + that… ( so 的后面跟形 容词或副词) 如: Dr. Wang is so good that everybody loves him. Millie is so young that she can’t go to school. Tom is so clever a boy that he does well in all his lessons.

such…that 作 “ 如此 … 以致 ”, such 后边要用名词 1)such + a(an) + adj. +单数可数名词+ that…clause He is such a clever boy that everybody likes him. 2)such + adj. +复数可数名词+ that…clause They are such interesting books that I want to read them once again. 3)such + adj. +不可数名词+ that…clause He did such great work that I admired him very much. 注意:如果 such 后边的名词前由 many 、 much 、 few 、 little 等词所修饰的话,则不用 such 而用 so 。

“too…to…” 结构表示 “ 太 …… 而不 能 ……” , 后接形容词或副词的原 形,其后再接动词不定式。 如: Millie is too young to go to school.

▶但是当句子的主语与不定式的主语不 一致时,常需在不定式前补加一个介 词短语 for sb. ,即: too…for sb. to do sth. 如: The problem is too difficult for me to work out.

▶注意:当 that 引导的结果状语从句为肯定句 时, so... that... 可以与 be... enough to do 转换;当从句为否定句时,可以与 too... to... 或 be not... enough to do 转换。 如: 1.He is so short that he can’t reach the apple. → He is too short to reach the apple. → He is not tall enough to reach the apple. 2.She is so old that she can dress herself. → she is old enough to dress herself.
