Outline Introduction Methods Results Discussion Conclusion

Introduction Elderly individuals Reversible Dementia disorders Degenerative Alzheimer 's disease Parkinson's disease Etc.

DT training is now recognized as a fall prevention tool that enhances physical functions among elderly people.

Introduction Dual-Task Tai Chi (DTTC) Using Kinect Include Balance Cognitive ability 12-week program of DTTC training A total of 41 elderly individuals Training group: n = 26 Control group: n = 15 DTTC

Methods Participants Age>= 65 Independent ambulation Measurement of physical fitness Rapid Dementia Screening Test(RDST) scored 8 or greater

Methods Device Kinect

Methods Outcome measures Trail-making test (TMT) Visual-scanning task Cognitive flexibility Verbal fluency test (VFT) TMT :分A與B部分。

Results Study population A total of 41 of the 48 selected subjects TG: n = 26, CG: n = 15 最後經過篩選有48位,但是最後完成全部課程的指有41位(85.4%) 所以整理 TG 與CG 的人數。

Results

Discussion Using ΔTMT score significantly improved after DTTC training. DTTC training, has a positive impact on DT ability and the prevention of falling. TMT-A & B scores were not significantly improved. VFT was not significantly changed.

Discussion Limitations Interventions Health issues Not due solely to the DTTC Health issues Fall risk minimization

Conclusion ANCOVA results of ΔTMT reveal Group x time DTTC training Statistically significant DTTC training Effective to improve Executive Cognitive Functions
