D ISCUSSION Q UESTION :  What is the difference between a TANGIBLE gift and an INTANGIBLE gift?

C ELADON P OTTERY

H OW IS C ELADON MADE ?  This kind of pottery originated in ancient China and spread to other regions of Asia, such as parts of Korea and Thailand.  The pots, dishes, pieces, etc. are made from the clay, glazed, and then put into a kiln – a special kind of oven for firing pottery.  The color is produced by iron oxide in the glaze recipe or clay body. (iron + oxygen)iron oxide  The exact color depends on the mix of the glaze put on the pottery before firing, its thickness, AND the exact clay used in the pottery.
