About iSafe In today’s society everyone is worried about his/her safety. If we cant make our environment safer we have to become more smarter! iSafe is a mobile application that listens to your gestures and reports the emergency to the appropriate person(s) using and SMS and sends out the co-ordinates using GPS.

…About iSafe iSafe allows the user to create his/her own gestures to represent an emergency. iSafe allows the user to add his/her own “emergency “ contacts (911 included) iSafe helps to make you feel as if you always have a friend near by

Advantages of iSafe It makes the user feel as if he/she always has someone to look out for them all the time. It is easy to use. It is convenient.

Project Implementation The project will comprise of patterns that would be taken up by the application as per the response of the user. Each stored gesture and pattern would be particular to the type of emergency to be initiated. For Eg. The user can make a “F” gesture on the screen for indicating fire emergency. Each emergency would have its own customizable pattern to trigger it. Each emergency will also have a contact list which would be informed when that emergency is initiated. This list can be different for each different emergency.

Design The app will have a simple but easily understood User Interface. The home page would contain the area to draw the pattern which would be recognized by the application.

Architecture and Technology We will follow Model View Controller architecture (MVC). SQLite as our database. Xcode 4.5 and application will be compatible with iOS 6 devices. Google APIs for location.

Future Scope Alert Citizens can record anti-social activities using Images, Video or Audio and send it to 911. Thus by helping Police in catching the criminals with substantial proof.
