The main tasks: 1) To assist the Members of Regional Association VI 2) To provide secretarial support to the sessions of the Regional Association VI 3) To assist the RA VI president, the Management Group and other subsidiary bodies 4) To act as interface between the Members and the WMO Departments and Programmes 5) To advise Members on implementation and policy matters 6) To represent WMO at meetings and activities of other relevant regional organizations 7) To support resource mobilization activities, including the development and execution of capacity building projects
