 Pattern: A pattern is a design that has repeated characteristics. It can also be a guide to help make something. VOCABULARY  Repeated Pattern: A pattern that has its characteristic repeating over and over again.  Growing Pattern: A pattern that has one characteristic that keeps on getting bigger or increasing in number.

REPEATING PATTERNS  Different kinds.  AB = *&*&*&*&*&  AAB = **&**&**&**&**&  ABB = *&&*&&*&&*&&*&&  ABBA = *&&**&&**&&**&&**&&*
