Getting Organised At the start of the project, I followed the instructions given on the Dida website of how to get organised for the coming tasks. These included: Creating an appropriate folder structure Choosing a test buddy Making a sources table:
Planning The next instructions given on the website were to create an initial plan. This plan would outline all of the tasks I had to complete throughout the project and details of what I would do in each lesson Throughout the WildCare project, I would update this plan to make an “ongoing plan”
Database As part of the WildCare project, I had to create a database of all the animals available for adoption. Evidence of my database work and importing new records can be found in the “WildCare Database” section of my Eportfolio.
Membership Fees The next part of the WildCare project required that I create membership fees for the types of WildCare Trust membership (Platinum, Gold, Silver, Teen and Kids). I found the values for these fees by building an excel spreadsheet and trialling different possible values. I also researched other animal care charities to find reasonable prices for these membership fees. Evidence for these fees can be found in the “Membership Fees” section of my Eportfolio
Membership Pack I had to produce 4 publications to be included in a membership pack, which would be sent to members of the WildCare Trust. These publications included: Sample reports Membership card Leaflet Pack folder All of these publications, including drafts and evidence, can be found in the “Publications” section of my Eportfolio
Presentation The final publication that I needed to produce was a presentation with information about the WildCare Trust and how to join It was important that this presentation met the needs of the target audience: teenagers and young people My final presentation can also be found in the “Publications” section of my Eportfolio
